The New England Assembly of Nurse Anesthetists (NEANA) works to promote the best interest of its members, advance the standards of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA), and to facilitate cooperation between nurse Anesthetists, the medical profession, hospitals, and other agencies interested in anesthesia. NEANA conducts one or more educational meetings annually. The assembly also works to advance the principles and practice of anesthesia.
NEANA is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, which serves more than 49,000 nurse anesthetists throughout the U.S.
